[It isn't that he wasn't happy to see everyone, because he was, and he was a little sad to see them all go, but in the quiet of the hospital in the evening, he's able to take stock of everything.
He knows he's still a wreck (more of a wreck than he was this morning, to be perfectly honest), but for now, it's okay.
There's a stack of magazines he doesn't even want to look at, a basket of grenades and guns on his nightstand, a bag of glasses he'll never be able to use and a box that once contained truly Interesting onigiri--
And with that in mind, it's all okay. Or, at least, it will be--after all, he has to get out of here in four days, doesn't he? So he settles back to rest in peace, and it seems like tonight he'll actually be able to sleep through the night. Of course, hospitals aren't particularly conducive to sleeping in, especially when you're as battered and beaten up as Murasaki, so it's still pretty early in the morning when he blinks open his eyes again, squinting at the ceiling blearily as he tries to get his bearings.
... It's still early, so. He's definitely going to be alone in his hospital room for awhile, won't he?
Or at least, that's honestly what he's assuming, but he's still half-asleep and medicated, so noticing otherwise is going to take a moment.]
