you can't spell "alone" without "leon" ([personal profile] discard) wrote in [community profile] realpolitik 2016-03-24 07:54 pm (UTC)

[At least Stahn understands--unsurprisingly, really. They may both have a different relationship with Ilene, but she's important to the both of them in their own ways. If there's any sort of opportunity to speak with her, to be able to get her to change her mind and not follow Hugo...

They have to take it.

Leon doesn't really fancy the thought of facing her on opposite sides of a battlefield, after all. He can't see that ending well at all, and that's..frightening in a lot of ways. Even if he won't allow himself to think it through too thoroughly, he still knows.

There's only one way that could really end.

He shakes the thoughts away, clearing his throat and nodding. Stahn's fine with it, and Leon's fine with his plan of action; they should get business done first before pleasure (which...he forgot momentarily apparently because he sure did enjoy those kisses long before doing any sort of proper business here), and so:]

I agree. We should get going then. [He stands, because... now that they have a plan of attack, Leon's not going to hesitate to make it happen.

And... well, even if Ilene isn't there, at least he'll be approaching this with Stahn, instead of alone.]
