[Look, he's a Persona protag. So maybe you're having some difficulty with something--anything from looking for something to dropping things to carrying groceries and who knows what else--and after a moment of observing, he has to come over, hands tucked into his pocket and voice quiet, to ask:]

Is there anything I can help with?

[Protags gotta protag, after all; he just wants to be useful, okay!!!]

b

[Alternatively, he also seems to always find himself in these situations and can't seem to say no.... which is a life skill that would probably benefit him to learn but one he will never quite manage. HE...TRIED....

Probably.

But it's almost Easter and that's why he was dragged into helping with an easter egg hunt, wearing a stupid-ass costume complete with bunny ears and looking very puzzled about it (if you can tell beneath the lineface).

He's also, more importantly, kind of struggling to juggle all of the eggs he's supposed to be painting while more are dumped onto him by other overworked volunteers, and with paint on his face and hands and a paintbrush in his mouth as backup while he tries to paint colorful designs on one of the many eggs in his hands, he...

... Probably has bitten off more than he can chew.

Help.]

[if you want to see him shoot himself in the head make up a battle prompt or just tell me and i'll come up with one, it'll be Fun.]

[Come up with your own prompt or consider one of these OR WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY.]

Oh, no. I already have my regimen of practice before the dawn of each morning, followed by a shower then calligraphy... This is practice for the sake of... fun. [ Re-arranging his schedule for the day is no trouble for such a sincere kid. ]

It may be old-fashioned, but I still believe in the soul of our Japanese heritage being within our blades. But I suppose it's because I had mine to inherit from my forefathers and it remains in pristine condition.

[ Asougi supposes that's a bit of a tangent, since he just said they weren't using actual swords, and laughs. ]

Now then, shall we head to the dojo?

Exactly.

[ Nothing wrong with Minato's small quantity of words! If anything, Asougi sometimes worried he wasn't talking the poor child's ears off whenever he got passionate about something. Saying only what needs to be said is respectable. Saying more than what needs to be said can be embarrassing. ]

Do you do regular exercise in any other form, Arisato-kun?

You don't have to indulge me, you know.

[ There's an observational hum here, wondering about whether Minato will protest. Asougi's frowning, but it's in a teasing manner. ]

Going on a run around the city would be perfectly fine if that's what you prefer.

[ He nods contentedly. Asougi's not sure how obvious he's being, but he'd like this to be as relaxing for Minato as it is for himself. ]

Very well.

[ As the two arrive at the dojo that Asougi frequented, the man removed his ever-fluttering headband (and with that, it stopped its witchcraft for the time being), and put his sword to the side. He shakes his head with a grin. ]

Everyone's least favorite part, getting the uniform on. Don't forget to stretch before we begin. [ Just gotta casually senpai every moment of the way. ]

Haha, perhaps I could if I had more free time! But no, I was merely taught since I was young, and I'm just upholding family tradition as well as daily routine.

[ Asougi looks around the dojo, musing. ]

I didn't get to convince the British government when I went on my exchange program to to keep my sword, so for that time, I had to try fencing instead. A respectable discipline, but one doesn't simply move from one sword style or another with ease. [ I mean unless you're this kid in front of him. ] It was a relief to have Karma back in my hands.
