[Bobbi is tired of being launched from one part of spacetime to another, that's all she's got to say to this situation.

Seriously, there's no reason for this nonsense. She's not being haunted by vengeful ghosts (who are seriously the epitome of the Nice Guy syndrome, what gives?) and she's not in any recent trouble. She's pretty sure, anyway.

So...why the sudden appearance in a heavily forested area? The sound of waves crashing makes her think island, but it's hard to believe they're on Earth when the sky is purple and the leaves on the trees are blue.

[ Less evil Loki. He feels a strange flash of pride at that, one that should not exist. Why did he care how evil or good someone thought he was (aside from Thor, the eternal exception to everything in Loki's life)? Damn it. He personally wanted to blame the Young Avengers and their odd acceptance of him into their fold. ]

Probably not.

[ And, hopefully, another him would not rat him out even if he figured it out. As he walked, his clothing changed until he was wearing a hoodie and jeans, looking like an older teen. His hair got shorter and turned a brown with a hint of red. ]

[Well, she definitely wouldn't have recognized him if he hadn't transformed in front of her face. She nods approvingly, before pausing and tilting her head.

That's a familiar bow outside of a restaurant.

...A schawarma restaurant.]

Well then. Looks like we're interrupting their victory meal.

Don't the Avengers give out an ID card you can show off? Signed by Captain America and all that so you are official?

[ Loki looks in the window, where he can see the beaten up group gathered around two tables pushed together, stuffing their faces with schawarma. ]

Sorry, I must have left that in my other jumpsuit when I stopped being an Avenger.

[seriously, Loki.

But she just rolls her eyes and shoves open the door, walking in fearlessly despite six trigger-happy superheroes staring at her.]

[ Loki would have kept that card for every moment he might need to prove himself to authorities or get a 10% off discount.

Then again, this is probably why no one ever gave him an Avengers ID card. ]

Hello, fabulous do-gooders. Forgive our interruption of your consumption of delicious Arabic snack food, but we need your help.

[ There is silence at the table as the Avengers stare at the two. Finally, Clint speaks up, eyes on Mockingbird. ]

Didn't I see you during the fight?

[She just puts a hand on her hip, meeting Clint's eyes with a hint of a challenge. She's never been one to back down, after all.]

We got caught up in it, beat a few aliens. That wasn't part of the plan.

[Bruce looks to more or less be falling asleep, and Steve looks exhausted too, but he puts on his Cap face--though before he can speak, Tony's interrupting.]

C'mon, we just saved the world, what more do you want from us?

Your little alien extravaganza seems to have opened more than one dimensional hole, but if you would rather not deal with that, it's your prerogative.

[ Loki has no proof the alien invasion had anything to do with Bobbi and his arrival (in fact, he is pretty sure it has nothing to do with it at all) but it has the intended effect of making the Avengers start to look a little more alive. Steve especially looks concerned. ]

What are you talking about?

[Tony and even Bruce look intrigued by that, lifting their heads and inspecting Loki and Bobbi closer.

Thor too looks baffled, but mostly by something he can't quite pin down. Still, he looks at them thoughtfully.]

Long story short, we don't belong in this universe. We got here by accident, and we're not entirely certain how to get home.

Can you help us or not?

[Staring down a Clint who doesn't know her is awkward, okay, she's not in the mood for bickering Avengers.]

And we are just supposed to believe you?

[ Natasha is eyeing them both like a cat ready to pounce. Steve lifts his hand, hoping to ward off that exact bickering. ]

Let's say they are telling the truth for the moment. Stark, Banner -- could you do anything about it?

[And admittedly, the promise of Crazy Science is enough to get Tony interested, as he rubs his chin, setting down his schawarma.]

Depends. How different is your universe from ours?

[Bruce also seems to be trying to wake himself up more, though he looks interested.]

Well. [...CLINT AND I WERE MARRIED??? YOU AND CAP HAD ISSUES? BUCKY EXISTS AND IS ALIVE AND IS CAP # 2?

...something safer.]

From the looks of it, the Avengers are a pretty new thing here. Back home, you've been around for awhile, and I was a part of the crew.

And quite a different opening crew.

[ Loki of all people would know that. ]

However, still, Avengers exist, you all exist and are superheroes, so it is not too far off the mark.

[ Steve looks at his two science minds, considering the situation. Then he waves at Natasha and Clint. ]

Pull up another table and a couple chairs, will you?

[ Neither looks thrilled with the idea, but they do as they are asked while Steve addresses Bobbi and Loki again. ]

We're all exhausted and aren't going to be able to do much to help you right now. But give us a while to rest and we'll do our best.

[Loki sure would, but Bobbi just shoots him a warning look.

But this seems to be working, so with a shrug, she sits down, slumping into the chair. They really have been traveling nonstop for quite some time now.

Sitting down is kind of nice.]

Thanks, Cap. We'll owe you one if you can get us back home.

[More or less--though that seems to settle it for the Avengers, Bruce and Tony already putting their heads together to sciencebabble at each other.

Bobbi just looks bemused. She didn't know the Hulk and Iron Man were on such good terms--]

[ Clint and Natasha, however, are a bit more paranoid than the others. It comes with the territory. Clint plays it friendly, however. ]

So. Just who are you two?

[ Loki gives him a surprisingly innocent smile and offers his hand. ]

[And in contrast, Bobbi just levels a flat look on Clint, flicking her gaze to Natasha and answering in a way that she knows they won't judge her for not revealing her name.]

[also loki do you have a crush She's a SHIELD agent (or was) just like them. Forgive her if she doesn't reveal her name so easily.

And Tony rolls his eyes, even if the SHIELD agents look to be understanding.]

Great, more SHIELD spies.

[ As both bird and spider relax, Loki raises his arm to wave at the waiter. ]

How about some tasty food and drink for the newbies?

[ Steve takes a deep drink of his coffee, letting the caffeine continue to wake him up. ]

[her flat look is then transferred to Loki. Excuse you, Loki, this ex-SHIELD agent saved your butt.

[ Loki bounces on the balls of his heels. He gives Bobbi a little wave and a grin. ]
