Mockingbird | Loki

Previously.

[ It has been over a month since the alternate-dimension weirdness that threw Bobbi and Loki together, and there has been no sign of Loki since.

That certainly doesn't mean he hasn't been busy. When your mother shows up with her sisters-in-arms and strikes deals for you to go get yourself into trouble for Great Justice (or politics), you go. Loki has lied, cheated, stole, bluffed and snogged his way through enough behind the scenes tomfoolery he is honestly just tired and in need of a little fun.

It is by chance he runs across Mockingbird's apartment building as a saved address in his GPS. He spends the day in lazy surveillance, until a woman who looks just like, walks just like the agent leaves one of the apartments.

Bingo.

By the time Bobbi gets home, there will be a teenage god of chaos camped out on her couch, eating her cereal, and watching cartoons on her television.

[It had been a long but reasonably successful day for Barbara Morse. She managed to break up a grungy underground slave trade, and kicked the asses of some guys who thought it was acceptable to steal away young women and sell them to the highest bidder. So even if it was exhausting, it was so very satisfying--though she's quite ready for a long, hot bath, and that's all she's thinking about as she trudges inside, a cut still sluggishly bleeding on her cheek, and right by the couch in the living room.

And then she pauses.

And returns to the living room and stares.

You. Get your ass off my couch, you weren't invited here.
