[It's been a long journey to this city. Not that it's his destination--Kibougahana City, was it...?--but nonetheless, he can't deny that it might not hurt to take a short break. Ichigen-sama always did say that he needed to take it easy sometimes so he didn't overdo it, because that wouldn't help anyone.

Except...more poetic.

Because Ichigen-sama is the most poetic of all.

He's taken to the rooftops like batman the slightly anti-social soul he is, but at some point, he notices that there's this old lady who needs help crossing the street, and leaving her to do it on her own would just not be honorable at all, and then there's a cat in a tree and it reminds him of Neko a bit, and then--

He's walking along, passing by a school, and honestly feeling very satisfied with how the day went (even if he hasn't gotten any closer to the end of his journey, sometimes it's the journey itself that is really important, right?) when he steps on something.

Something that goes crunch.

He freezes. This was clearly the first meeting that was meant to be.]

... I understand. I won't be of much use like this, anyway... [ which is a softly unhappy statement, resigned. Still, she'll ease herself down onto her back. ]

[Don't be so unhappy, Yuri... Kuroh is silent for a moment, as if considering that, and then--]

It is the most basic of lessons, to take care of yourself. There is no shame in resting, and not being of use, in that case.

That...is one of the lessons Ichigen-sama taught me. [not that he's always the best at following it, but nonetheless, he remembers it.]

I seem to remember someone passed out on the riverbank...

[ but Yuri sighs, closing her eyes. ]

I'll be taking your teacher's advice, then.

... I still have much to learn myself. [He'll admit that he messed that one up--but at that, he nods, standing easily.]

I will leave you to rest then.

[except for sneaking in to check on her of course]

[ She'll be asleep whenever he checks on her. Apparently suffering through nightmares at some point, unfortunately. ]

[When he checks on her, she doesn't seem happy in the least. She's always been so calm and collected, that the sight of her with her apparent nightmares is...disconcerting.

Gently, he lays the damp washcloth he'd retrieved on her forehead, and then...he hesitates.

What does he do...?

Gingerly, he presses one of the buttons on his recorder. "You should always try, if you always do your best, you have done the right."

....... right okay so................... what does that mean again]

[socolognely]

[ Good question. Yuri's shifting a bit, eyebrows knitting together underneath the washcloth, while in her dreams, Cologne has faded away with a few odd words, like he'd gotten into the fortune cookies. Her Precure Seed has shattered again, and it's all dark-- ]

No--

[arbitrament]

Tsukikage...

[... ... ... she really does sound tormented, doesn't she? He frowns in response, peering a little closer.

Do his best.... do his best.

Do his best how?

... ... ... ...]

[socolognely]

[ Godspeed, Kuroh. Yuri might be able to offer advice, but she's a little unconscious and miserable right now. And mumbling. ]

... n't go... d-don't leave me--

[....... alright. He has no idea what he's doing, and there is a sense that this is improper, but master said to do his best, and so he has to try. Improper or not.

So he takes a deep breath (almost comically so) and then reaches out to adjust the washcloth.]

...Yuri. You are not alone.

[socolognely]

[ That, she hears. Which makes no sense, because Cologne has left her, and her father is gone, and she's left all alone with a wilting Heart Tree...

But there's something about that voice that resonates, and it causes her to fall silent, her frightened grimace smoothing out into something... perplexed. ]

[It...seems to have gotten through to her. So he'll try again, because anything is better than that look that was on her face, agonized and frightened.]

Yuri. [It's easier this time.] I promise you--you are not alone.

[socolognely]

[ Her name again. The dreamscape wavers, shimmers, and dissolves-- and then Yuri opens her eyes, groggy and disoriented. There's just enough moonlight coming through her window to show her the figure leaning over her, but her gaze doesn't seem quite focused. In fact, it takes her a few seconds to even recognize him, and she's too tired, her throat too sore to croak out more than a little. ]

Kuroh...

NOT AS PLANNED, ABORT MISSION. He sits upright very abruptly, taking with him that washcloth.]

I will be back momentarily with water.

[ABSCONDS THE SCENE]

[socolognely]

[ Calm down, Kuroh, she won't remember much of this-- or any of this, perhaps. She's still very much drowsy, so she's left blinking blearily at the spot of darkness where he once was. Did he just imagine him there? ]

[arbitrament]

[Look, that's really awkward okay......

But he just returns a brief moment later, slightly calmer and with a glass of water.]

Drink this. It will help your throat. [He offers it up to her gently.]

[socolognely]

[ All she can offer is a nod and hope she looks grateful, as she shifts onto one elbow and tries to keep her hand steady enough to drink. She's been sweating, she notes-- the fever? Another nightmare? She can't remember. ]

[arbitrament]

[For a lack of anything better to do, he takes a seat by the bed again, albeit a little hesitantly.

.. .. ... well then. He won't ask, if she's having so much trouble speaking.]

[socolognely]

[ She'll fare better after she drains a bit from the glass, pausing to clear her throat. ]

... Thank you.

[arbitrament]

Of course.

[It's...only natural, as far as he is concerned. He'll keep on taking proper care of her until she's better.]

When you have finished, you should rest more, if you are able.

[socolognely]

Yes... I will. You should sleep, as well.
