Even if we can't hit all of the weaknesses of Shadows, so long as we can avoid getting trapped into only having their strengths, we should be fine. I think we can overpower them, at least right now.

Yes. They only ever appeared during the Dark Hour. So we thought, maybe, if we got rid of the Dark Hour... people wouldn't be in danger of Shadows anymore.
... It's a long story. But...to shorten it a bit, we thought if we could take out the large Shadows that were causing trouble every month, it would lead us towards an answer.
