[Bobbi is tired of being launched from one part of spacetime to another, that's all she's got to say to this situation.

Seriously, there's no reason for this nonsense. She's not being haunted by vengeful ghosts (who are seriously the epitome of the Nice Guy syndrome, what gives?) and she's not in any recent trouble. She's pretty sure, anyway.

So...why the sudden appearance in a heavily forested area? The sound of waves crashing makes her think island, but it's hard to believe they're on Earth when the sky is purple and the leaves on the trees are blue.

Your supervillain impression would probably be better if you weren't sitting on the back of a unicorn right now, but A for effort.

[And then she'll concede the point, waving a hand.]

We're not married anymore, if that's what you're asking. If someone's going after Hawkeye, there are better targets to pick.

[she generally has too much teeth and claws to be a good target.]

So our villain is either stupid or more clever than we realize. Or there is not a villain at all and this is all just very strange coincidence.

[ He would rather it be a villain. It was always harder to deal with issues where there was not an antagonist. ]

Or you brought me here for some purpose that isn't yet clear, or you intended to bring someone else and got me instead--or our friendly supervillain did.

[She shrugs, nonchalant.]

The possibilities are endless.

Or you are not really Mockingbird at all, but a sneaky Skrull or interdimensional parasite.

[ He shrugs as well, though being totally blind does irritate him. ]

It's a small reaction, but one nonetheless. Skrulls--she's been there before.]

That's not a concern right now--not that I can say 'trust me', since that's the point of both Skrulls and interdimensional parasites.

[ He dismisses her with a wave of his hand. ]

I am not going to believe someone as old as you on anything regarding the internet; you obviously do not know what you are talking about.

[Suddenly, her metal staff is in her hands, almost threatening--but she just puts it behind her neck, as if walking casually with a nasty weapon to drape your arms over is a natural thing.]

I'm going to pretend that you didn't just call me old to preserve your pretty little face.

[ No, he has no sense of self-preservation, why do you ask? ]

[She's also really fast.

That pole is suddenly divided into two--with one hand she sweeps around, aiming to smack him (admittedly lightly (for her)) over the cheekbone.

The other she very neatly places in front of the unicorn, keeping it from walking forward further, but being careful not to spook the creature. Blech. Horses.]

[And she pulls her weapons back, tucking them back into their hiding places, and starts to walk again. Stupid norse gods.]

[ He has to take a tight grip of the unicorn's mane to keep from falling off, but he has to laugh. He has been taking punches from America Chavez for the past few months; that was a lovetap. He rights himself and nudges the unicorn into following once more. ]

[It was a lovetap, because Mockingbird is nice to her fellow prisoners--most of the time.

She just flicks her eye at him, tilting her head slightly.]

[ Loki just laughs again, leaning forward to lounge against the unicorn's neck as they continue down the violently orange beach. ]

[And so they carry on in silence for awhile, along the rather hideous beach.]

...Stuck in a place like this, the least they could do is give us some sunglasses.

[This is a hideous beach with a hideous sun and hideous water for the hideous sun to glare off of--

but when Mockingbird said sunglasses

she didn't expect it to start raining sunglasses a few seconds later.]

[ Little green shields stretch out in the air above Loki and Mockingbird (because he is a nice person, really). ]

Rain cherry blossoms, you jerk of an island!

[Thankfully, after a few moments, the sunglasses are replaced by cherry blossoms.

She holds out a hand, watched the blossoms flutter gently onto them.]

...I see you're building your case that you are a manly super villain.

Oh, I am sorry. Did you want to keep getting pelted by sunglasses?

[ Loki scowled at her, the suggestion he was a supervillain getting under his skin far quicker than any blow at his manliness. ]

[She just stares at him for a moment, thoughtfully.]

[But that's all she says. Instead, she continues walking, musing instead on their situation.]

A world that responds to what we say? That seems dangerous.

[Ahem.]

"I would like to go home now."

[ Loki waits to see what happens. After a few moments, he scoffs. ]

That would be way too easy, wouldn't --

[ He pauses and then sits up straighter on the back of his unicorn. ]

Is that an apartment building?

[She stands straighter, staring at the apartment now transposed between hideous trees in the sand.

...]

[And then to no one in particular--]

It looks like we should be very careful how we phrase things.

[ He urges the unicorn forward in the direction of the building. Might as well check it out now that it is here. Memorize the address on the front. You know. For Reasons. ]

Wonder if it is inhabited.

[As they come closer, Mockingbird sighs.]

I would like my address to be unreadable to certain Norse gods of mischief and lies in my companionship.

[She's onto you, bucko--and lo and behold, all address features are gone. Heh.]

Let's hope not. I don't know what condition they would have been brought in.

[And with that ominous statement, she pushes open the door.]
