He's walking along, passing by a school, and honestly feeling very satisfied with how the day went (even if he hasn't gotten any closer to the end of his journey, sometimes it's the journey itself that is really important, right?) when he steps on something.

Abilities are granted to their followers by the Kings they choose to serve. My Master, Ichigen-sama, was the late Colorless King, and it is through him that my abilities have been granted.

That is correct! Ichigen-sama was truly the most impressive, but I have been lucky to be able to carry on his legacy!

[When he checks on her, she doesn't seem happy in the least. She's always been so calm and collected, that the sight of her with her apparent nightmares is...disconcerting.

Gently, he lays the damp washcloth he'd retrieved on her forehead, and then...he hesitates.
