[It's been a long journey to this city. Not that it's his destination--Kibougahana City, was it...?--but nonetheless, he can't deny that it might not hurt to take a short break. Ichigen-sama always did say that he needed to take it easy sometimes so he didn't overdo it, because that wouldn't help anyone.

Except...more poetic.

Because Ichigen-sama is the most poetic of all.

He's taken to the rooftops like batman the slightly anti-social soul he is, but at some point, he notices that there's this old lady who needs help crossing the street, and leaving her to do it on her own would just not be honorable at all, and then there's a cat in a tree and it reminds him of Neko a bit, and then--

He's walking along, passing by a school, and honestly feeling very satisfied with how the day went (even if he hasn't gotten any closer to the end of his journey, sometimes it's the journey itself that is really important, right?) when he steps on something.

Something that goes crunch.

He freezes. This was clearly the first meeting that was meant to be.]

He looks down at her (n his arms) and... oh no, she's red, that's--]

[ SERIOUSLY. ]

[....ah. is it??? Yeah, it is.

He stops when they make it to the gates of the school, setting her down.]

I apologize for my breach in propriety.

Then don't do it again!

[ and she'll snap this, wobbling inside the gates with a huff.

While everyone else is staring at the guy who just carried the smartest student in her grade here. ]

[and in response to that he just..........offers up...]

I will return when you have completed your test.

[OK BYE HE'LL BE BACK IN AN HOUR TO DRAG YOU HOME.]

[ WOW EXCUSE YOU, Yuri is... almost tempted to just turn into Cure Moonlight and fly home herself, but no, she shouldn't misuse her powers. It's taking all of her energy and focus to make it through her test, and then she's just... inching her way to the infirmary. Maybe if she rests there, sneaks out through the courtyard-- ]

[AND THERE HE IS.

Chatting with the nurse. Helping her put things away on the higher shelves.

Helping carry boxes.

As soon as he sees Yuri, he blinks, and then nods.]

One moment.

[and he's back to setting those boxes where they need to go.]

[ Is this what nightmares feel like. Normally, they involve losing Cologne and her ability to transform, and the Heart Tree being destroyed, and not some slender guy in a ponytail just inexplicably showing up wherever she goes.

... She's just going to slump a little against the doorframe. Okay. He wins this round. ]

[Yes.

Yes it is. As soon as those boxes have been properly put away, he steps closer.]

Will you allow me to assist you? [At least he's asking this time??]

[socolognely]

[ Please don't let Momoka see any of this, including the sight of her best friend caving.

If only because she's seriously feeling unwell, and it's outweighing her pride. ]

I doubt saying 'no' would work.

[he's just....going to not respond to that because his response would be YEP YOU'RE RIGHT.

Instead, he reaches for her hand, and then gently pulls her closer so he can pick her up in that bridal carry.

Work with him here.

But at least it means they make it back quickly, and then he gently deposits her into her bed.]

[ She's cooperating enough, by not kicking or yelling and just staying quietly in his arms, up until he places her back in bed. She'll take a moment to remove her hairclip and her glasses, setting them on the stand beside her bed, before she wearily glances at him again. ]

... Thank you. You didn't have to go out of your way like that.

It was no trouble. You clearly intended to continue to strain yourself, so I merely removed some of that strain.

[It's logical to him.... regardless, he inspects her for a moment, before nodding shortly.]

I will make a meal that will be light on your stomach. Please do not sleep yet.

[socolognely]

... Understood.

[ Yuri, you're not a soldier. But it's the easiest thing to mutter, even if she just wants to pass out properly. ]

[Good job, Yuri, way to be reasonable.

Kuroh focuses on making a decent soup--decent tasting but nonetheless easy on the stomach for someone who is ill--and when that is finished, he carries it up to her room. a polite knock, because he's not walking in there without permission now that he doesn't have to.

Indecent!!!]

[socolognely]

It's fine. [ her voice is muffled and sort of drowsy, because guess who has been trying not to doze off? This girl, yes. ]

[arbitrament]

[So in he goes...right over to her bedside, settling a tray across her lap and placing the soup there. And a glass of water. to one side, there's a damp washcloth for her forehead should she have a fever, and a cup of tea, herbal and honey.

He's a good housewife, but tending to sick people (or one sick person in particular) is...something he'd gotten a lot of practice in, as of late.

And even though Yuri's illness is not near so serious as that...well, old habits are hard to break, maybe. Or maybe he'd rather be overprepared than under when it comes to her health.]

[socolognely]

[ That's... honestly more than she expected, and her surprise shows-- but she still has her manners, so she'll dip her head a bit as she sits up a little more. ]

... Thank you. It seems I owe you yet again.

[arbitrament]

[In response to that, he glances at her thoughtfully--and then shakes his head, bowing it a moment later.

He straightens, and then he responds simply--]

If you recover properly, that will be repayment enough.

[And now he'll leave her to it--though he'll come back for the empty bowls and cups.]

[socolognely]

[ Of course she's going to recover properly, she's Cure Moonlight. And she's eating all of her soup and drinking all of her tea like a good girl, so when he comes back, they will indeed be empty. The girl herself will still be sitting. ]

[arbitrament]

[SHE'D BETTER.

Regardless, he does return after a polite knock at her door again, and retrieves those empty containers. And--]

Do you require anything else? [Otherwise... he'll leave her to rest though he probably won't actually leave her alone completely because Kuroh.]

[socolognely]

... Do you have a moment?

[ she's tired, yes, but they don't usually get much of a chance to talk. ]

[arbitrament]

I do.

[Talking? What's talking. How does one have a normal conversation with someone. But let him go put these dishes away first.]

One moment more then, and I will return.

Yes, of course. [ she will chill properly in bed until then. ]
